This Privacy Policy explains how Stayvera Inc. ("Stayvera," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you visit or interact with stayvera.com, related pages, host onboarding flows, forms, communications, and website services.
Stayvera is a pre-launch short-term rental platform. The website currently supports limited host onboarding, but the mobile app, general guest booking marketplace, guest payments, completed marketplace transactions, and guest booking services are not launched through the website at this stage.

2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors and users of stayvera.com worldwide.
The website currently includes informational pages, contact forms, waitlist forms, investor-related materials, marketing communications, host account creation, host onboarding, host profile setup, listing import, listing draft setup, listing review, payout verification, privacy preferences, analytics choices, and related service-provider processing.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not own or control, even if they are linked from our website or used in connection with Stayvera.
3. Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you provide to us, information generated through your use of the website, information collected through service providers, and certain technical information processed automatically when you visit or use the website.
3.1 Contact, Waitlist, Investor, and Inquiry Forms
When you submit a contact form, waitlist form, investor form, partner inquiry, support request, or similar website form, we may collect:

- Message text.
- Inquiry category, such as investor, company, individual, benefit, general contact, waitlist, partner, or other category.
- Information you choose to include in your message.
- Optional signed NDA attachments or related documents for investor-related submissions.

- IP address, request metadata, and anti-abuse information used for rate limiting, spam prevention, and security.
3.2 Host Account and Authentication Information
When you create or use a host account, we may collect and process:
- Email address.
- First name and last name.
- User ID and account identifiers.
- Authentication and session information.
- Email verification codes or verification status.
- Password-related information handled by our authentication provider when you use password login.
- Optional Apple, Google, or other sign-in profile information made available through authentication providers.
- Account role, such as host.
- Profile image URL.
- Account creation, update, sign-in, sign-out, and deletion timestamps.
- Security, re-verification, and sensitive account-change information.
We use authentication providers to support sign-up, sign-in, email verification, OAuth sign-in, password management, account security, account changes, re-verification, and account deletion.
3.3 Host Profile Information
When you complete host onboarding or update your profile, we may collect and process:
- First name and last name.
- Email address.
- Bio.
- City, country, and country code.
- Profile image.
- Banner image or other profile assets where uploaded or imported.
- Host verification status.
- Account role.
- Analytics and privacy preference status.
- Consent source and consent update time.
- Imported profile information you authorize us to process.
- Aggregate external review score, rating average, or review count where available.
After payout or identity verification, some identity-related fields, such as legal name and country, may be locked in the product and may require support review to change.
3.4 Listing Information
The website lets hosts import, create, edit, save, submit, and publish listing drafts during onboarding.
We may collect and process listing information such as:
- Listing title and description.
- Property type.
- Address line, city, country, location label, latitude, longitude, and place identifiers.
- Nightly rate, cleaning fee, currency, and derived service fee information.
- Check-in and check-out time.
- Pets, smoking, parties, children, and other house rules.
- Inventory count.
- Maximum guests.
- Bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms.
- Amenities.
- Cancellation policy and related policy information.
- Draft, saved, submitted, reviewed, or published status.
- Listing images uploaded by you or imported with your authorization.
- Image storage IDs, remote URLs, order, captions, alt text, and related image metadata.
- Aggregate external review scores, rating averages, or review counts for each listing where available.
We use this information to create, store, review, prepare, display, edit, and manage listings during onboarding and marketplace preparation.
Saving, submitting, or publishing a listing during onboarding does not mean the full guest marketplace is live or that the listing is publicly bookable.
3.5 Listing Import and Ownership Verification
Stayvera may allow hosts to import profile, listing, image, pricing, rule, amenity, location, and aggregate review-score information from other platforms.
When you use a listing import feature, we may collect and process:
- The external profile or listing URL you submit.
- External profile or listing identifiers.
- External profile or listing name.
- Public or host-authorized profile details.
- Public or host-authorized listing details.
- Imported profile images, listing images, and image URLs.
- Imported listing titles, descriptions, locations, coordinates, pricing, rules, amenities, cancellation information, and related details.
- Aggregate review scores, rating averages, review counts, or similar summary metrics.
- Ownership or control verification status.
- Import status, import start time, import completion time, imported listing count, imported review-summary count, and error status.
- Whether you chose to skip import.
- Information needed to verify that you own, control, or have authority to use the external profile, listing, images, and related content.
We use this information to verify ownership or control, complete the host-requested import, create listing drafts, store imported images where available, help you review imported information, and prepare listings for Stayvera.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to import and use any external profile content, listing content, images, photos, descriptions, and related information.
3.6 Payout Profile and Identity Verification Information
Before or during Stripe Connect onboarding, we may collect payout profile information such as:
- Business type, such as individual or company.
- Company or business name, where applicable.
- Website URL, if provided.
- Phone number.
- Support email.
- Date of birth for individual hosts, where provided.
- Payout address, including address line 1, address line 2, city, state or region, postal code, country code, and country label.
- Selected address or place details.
- Stripe connected account ID.
- Stripe mode, such as test or live, where applicable.
- Stripe account status metadata.
- Details-submitted status.
- Charges-enabled status.
- Payouts-enabled status.
- Requirements currently due, eventually due, past due, pending, or subject to errors.
- Disabled reason, verification status, and risk or compliance status where returned by Stripe.
- Currency information.
- Onboarding completion time.
- Last Stripe sync time.
- External bank account summary returned by Stripe, such as bank name and last four digits.
- Temporary payout portal, account-management, or embedded-component session tokens and related expiry or last-used timestamps.
Stripe may directly collect bank account details, government identification documents, identity information, tax information, beneficial ownership information, company information, and other verification or compliance information inside Stripe components.
Stayvera stores Stripe-returned verification status, payout status, account metadata, and limited bank summary details. Stayvera does not intentionally store full bank account numbers or identity document images.
3.7 Marketing and Communication Information
When you create a host account, join a waitlist, submit a form, contact us, request information, identify as an investor, or otherwise provide your email address, we may collect and process:
- Name.
- Email address.
- Communication preferences.
- Marketing opt-out status.
- Email segment or audience membership.
- Email delivery, open, click, bounce, unsubscribe, and suppression metadata where available from our email provider.
- Message content and related communications.
We may automatically add you to marketing or product-update communications when you create a host account, join a waitlist, submit a form, contact us, or otherwise provide your email address, where permitted by law. You may opt out through your profile settings where available or by using unsubscribe links at the bottom of emails.
Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send non-marketing messages, such as account emails, verification emails, security notices, onboarding messages, payout notices, listing notices, legal notices, privacy notices, support responses, and other service-related communications.
3.8 Investor Materials and NDA Process
If you identify as an investor or request access to investor materials, you may be directed to materials hosted through Google Drive or another document-sharing service. Access to certain investor materials may require you to download, complete, sign, and return a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA.
Depending on the NDA form and the information you provide, we may process:
- Name.
- Email address.
- Company or organization.
- Role or title.
- Signature.
- Date of signature.
- Investor category or investor status.
- Other information included in the NDA or related communications.
- Access, download, delivery, or document metadata available from the relevant provider.
3.9 Google Maps, Places, and Location Information
The website may use Google Maps, Google Places, or similar services for host address search, address autocomplete, place details, payout addresses, profile locations, and listing locations.
When you use these features, we or our service providers may process:
- Address search text.
- Selected address or place details.
- Place identifiers.
- Latitude and longitude.
- City, region, postal code, and country.
- Browser, device, request, and usage metadata sent to Google or similar providers when maps or place services load.
We use this information to support address selection, listing location, payout profile setup, and marketplace preparation.
3.10 Cookies, Analytics, Logs, and Technical Information
When you visit or use the website, we and our service providers may process technical and usage information such as:
- IP address.
- Browser type and version.
- Device information.
- Operating system.
- Pages visited.
- Routes and page views.
- Date and time of visit.
- Referring website or source.

When full analytics are enabled for a signed-in host, analytics events may include account identifiers and profile attributes such as Stayvera user ID, authentication provider ID, role, email, full name, first name, last name, and analytics consent status.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral advertising cookies.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs, embedded components, and similar technologies to operate, secure, improve, and analyze the website.
These technologies may include:
- Strictly necessary cookies and storage for website operation, security, routing, account login, authentication, session management, account changes, and fraud prevention.

- PostHog EU-hosted analytics, event, heatmap, session-recording, performance, and error-tracking technologies, depending on consent state and configuration.
- Convex or application storage technologies used for app functionality.
- Google Maps or Places request technologies used when maps, address autocomplete, or place details are loaded.
- Email and communication technologies used to send, deliver, and manage messages.
Exact cookie and storage names may change as our website and service providers update their services.
In regions where consent is required for non-essential cookies or analytics, we ask for consent before enabling those technologies. If you decline non-essential analytics, the website may still use strictly necessary technologies.
Signed-in hosts may be able to manage privacy and analytics preferences through profile settings, privacy settings, or privacy controls made available on the website.

- To support address search, place details, maps, and location selection.
- To respond to contact form submissions, support requests, partner inquiries, and investor inquiries.
- To manage the Stayvera waitlist.
- To send transactional, service, account, onboarding, payout, listing, legal, privacy, security, and support communications.
- To send marketing emails, launch updates, product updates, investor communications, host updates, and promotional messages.
- To manage email audiences, segments, opt-outs, suppressions, and unsubscribe requests.

7. How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
We may share personal information with the following categories of service providers, partners, and third parties where necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Authentication Providers
We use authentication providers, including Clerk, for account creation, sign-in, sign-out, email verification, OAuth sign-in, password management, session management, account security, re-verification, account changes, and account deletion.
Backend, Database, and Storage Providers
We use backend, database, server-function, and storage providers, including Convex, to store and process account records, host profiles, listings, images, imports, payout metadata, privacy preferences, and related application data.
Convex is currently used as U.S.-hosted backend, database, server-function, and storage infrastructure for Stayvera.
Payment, Payout, and Verification Providers
We use Stripe Connect and related Stripe services for connected account creation, payout onboarding, account management, payout status, bank account collection, identity verification, business verification, tax and compliance checks, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, risk review, webhook updates, and related payout operations.
Stripe may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Analytics, Logging, and Product Improvement Providers
We use PostHog's EU-hosted service for website analytics, product analytics, logs, performance monitoring, error tracking, heatmaps, session recording, and product improvement depending on consent state and configuration.
Where required by law, non-essential analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, autocapture, and full user identification are enabled only after consent or as otherwise permitted by law.
Website Infrastructure and Security Providers
We use Cloudflare, including Cloudflare Pages, for website hosting, DNS, CDN, security, performance, request routing, country or region signals for consent behavior, traffic processing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
Maps, Address, and Location Providers
We use Google Maps, Google Places, and related Google services for address autocomplete, place details, maps, geocoding, listing location support, payout address support, and profile location support.
Cloud Import Processing Providers
We use an EU-hosted Google Cloud import processor for serverless processing, operational workflows, host-requested listing import, ownership or control verification workflows, and related infrastructure.
The Google Cloud import processor may process only the import information needed to complete a host-requested import or verification workflow, such as submitted external profile or listing URLs, import session identifiers, public or host-authorized listing information, image URLs, aggregate review scores, operational metadata, service authentication metadata, and import status information.
Email and Communication Providers
We use Resend and similar providers to process contact form submissions, waitlist submissions, investor inquiries, email delivery, transactional emails, marketing emails, audience segments, unsubscribe requests, suppressions, and communication metadata.
Investor Document Providers
Investor materials, NDA documents, or related files may be hosted or shared through Google Drive or similar document-sharing services.
Third-Party Platforms You Choose to Use
If you choose to import listings or profile information from another platform, information may be collected from or related to that platform based on the information you provide and the import you request.
Your use of third-party platforms is subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and rules.
Professional Advisors
We may share information with lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, investors, financing sources, and other professional advisors where necessary for legal, accounting, compliance, financing, audit, insurance, or business purposes.
Legal, Compliance, and Safety
We may disclose personal information if required or permitted by law, legal process, court order, government request, subpoena, tax authority, regulatory authority, sanctions authority, or payment-compliance requirement.
We may also disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity of Stayvera, users, hosts, prospective guests, service providers, partners, or others.
Business Transfers
If Stayvera is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, due diligence process, or similar business transaction, personal information may be transferred, disclosed, or reviewed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
8. International Data Transfers and Hosting Locations
Stayvera is based in the United States and uses service providers that may process personal information in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other countries.
Certain service-provider infrastructure is currently configured as follows:
- Convex backend, database, server-function, and storage infrastructure used by Stayvera is currently hosted in the United States.
- The Google Cloud import processor used for host-requested listing import and related verification workflows is currently hosted in the European Union.
- PostHog analytics and product-improvement services are currently EU-hosted.
- Cloudflare uses a global network for website hosting, DNS, CDN, performance, routing, and security.
- Other providers, including authentication, email, payment, maps, document, and communication providers, may process information in multiple jurisdictions according to their own infrastructure, data-processing terms, and privacy policies.
If your personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in accordance with applicable data protection laws. These steps may include using appropriate contractual safeguards, relying on service provider data protection terms, using standard contractual clauses where applicable, and implementing technical and organizational security measures.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
This may include retaining:
- Account information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide services.
- Host profile, listing, import, and image information for as long as needed for onboarding, listing management, marketplace preparation, compliance, support, or business records.
- Payout profile and Stripe metadata for as long as needed for payout, tax, compliance, fraud prevention, audit, dispute, accounting, and legal purposes.
- Contact form, waitlist, investor, NDA, and communication records for as long as needed to manage communications, investor relations, support, legal rights, and business records.
- Analytics, logs, error records, and security information for as long as needed to operate, secure, debug, improve, and protect the website.
- Marketing records, unsubscribe records, suppression records, and communication preferences for as long as needed to honor preferences and comply with law.
- Backup and archive copies for a limited period under our backup and disaster-recovery processes.
We may retain information longer where necessary or permitted for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, sanctions, payout, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, audit, compliance, backup, or business-record purposes.
10. Account Deletion
Hosts may be able to delete their account through the website account area where supported.
Account deletion may remove access to host onboarding, profiles, listings, imports, payout views, account settings, and related host functionality.
Deletion may not immediately remove information from all systems, service providers, logs, backups, archives, or records. We may retain or restrict information where required or permitted for legal, compliance, tax, accounting, payout, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, audit, backup, or business-record purposes.

11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption, provider security controls, logging, monitoring, rate limiting, and other safeguards.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passwords, verification codes, session links, devices, and email account.

- Inferences, such as preferences, interests, user type, host status, onboarding progress, or communication category.
- Sensitive personal information, where required for payout, tax, identity, verification, or compliance purposes, such as date of birth, government identification information, financial account information, precise location information for listings, or identity-verification information. Some sensitive information may be collected directly by Stripe rather than stored by Stayvera.
Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from:
- You, when you visit the website, submit forms, create an account, complete onboarding, import listings, upload content, provide payout information, communicate with us, or change preferences.
- Your browser or device, when you visit or use the website.
- Authentication providers.
- Payment, payout, and verification providers.
- Analytics and infrastructure providers.
- Email and communication providers.
- Maps, places, and location providers.
- Third-party platforms you choose to use for listing import.

We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Sensitive information used for payout, identity, tax, verification, security, legal, or compliance purposes is used for those purposes and related business purposes.

16. Marketing Emails and Opt-Out
We may send marketing emails, launch updates, product updates, investor communications, host updates, promotional messages, and related Stayvera news.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of emails or, where available, by changing your profile settings or privacy settings.
If you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send non-marketing communications, such as account emails, verification emails, security notices, onboarding messages, payout notices, listing notices, legal notices, privacy notices, support responses, and other service-related communications.
17. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers or devices may send "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals.
Because we do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no sale or sharing to opt out of through these signals.
